Sara Rea is the Executive Producer/Showrunner for Lifetime’s Emmy nominated Project Runway. She also produced Project Runway: Under the Gunn and Project Runway: Threads. She has received multiple Emmy nominations, a GLAAD Award, and multiple PGA award nominations. In addition, Rea’s producing experience includes shows such as NBC’s Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit Model Search, Fox’s The Simple Life, Spike TV’s Murder, MTV’S The Real World vs. Road Rules Challenge and Lifetime’s America’s Psychic Challenge. Prior to reality television, she produced more than 10 nationally syndicated documentaries focusing on children’s issues, such as Autism, eating disorders, addiction, cutting and many more tough topics. She received four regional Emmy Nominations for her documentary work.
